Tell me more about Frond Books?

We are a small independent online-only book store established in mid-2024. We offer a range of affordable second-hand non-fiction books.

We’re based in Wellington, NZ and ship within New Zealand only.

How much is shipping?

Shipping is $7 per order for urban (non-rural) locations, and $14 for rural locations.

There is also cheaper shipping for the Wellington region, and free shipping in the 6023 postcode.

However, there can also be additional fees for the shipping of large or heavy books which will be clearly displayed at checkout.

How do you categorise the condition of your books?

We classify books as either:

  • Excellent: almost new condition
  • Good: some minor wear and tear but the book is still in good condition
  • Fair: reasonable degree of wear and tear
  • Poor: the book has suffered a lot of wear and tear, or some features are bad enough to drag down the condition category (e.g. missing piece of cover)
